honestly, these new dslr camera's have WAY too many options.....

for the dslr buffs out there, some questions.....

currently - it was on TV, 1/60, f4, iso1600 --- and it produces these types of pics.....

the lens sucks i am guessing, just a f3.5-5.6....

any photo suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....

I just bought that exact camera for my son for x-mas. He has taken some great pics with it. Good luck.

My son suggests;

ISO 1600 is a little fast, but you may need it for the light. If you use (M) for manual use 1/25 shutter speed and use the lowest aperture number you can. Set the ISO to match the light. Experiment until you get the right exposure.
