i was promised a 265 gallon tank and im pretty sure im getting one in september.

if i get it i wasnt to stock it with a male dovii .1 reddevil,1 buttikoferi and a p bass.what do u guys think:D

Yep, go for it, get them all the same size and the one that survives is the winner and the only fish you'll ever be able to keep in there!

Pretty much.

Depending on who is bigger.. sooner.
Once they start to reach maturity you'll be running into a lot of aggression.

yeah, with a low stocking level like that you are bound to have a lot of aggression. If the dominant fish only has two fish to pick on... soon it will be only one fish to pick on, and you know the rest. This might sound silly, but you would be better off putting like 10 of the fish you mentioned in there. With aggressive fish you have to spread the aggression around.

Did you ever see Repairs 265? I'll try to find it. I hear the tank is very calm and you'll flip when you see the stocking levels.

:iagree: I think if u want that setup u will have to overstock it add a couple of big o's or a big pacu u need to have a larger older fish in there with the smaller aggrasive fish that way your dovii,rd,butti and all won't fight as much to be boss if there is already say a big O 2 or 3 times there size with them :naughty: pushing all the tankmates around.Of course the filteration and mantaince would have to be of pristine quality:grinno:

yea ........for filtration im using probaly 2 magnum 350 filters, and two ac 500 filters.

You need to do better than that on a 265:)
