270 tank stand

i just got a stand for my 270 .... 36 deep 8ft long and 3.5 high supports 5000 LBs for ....... 60 smackaroos
this is from an industrial shelving Co. that had them laying around .... i think i made off like a bandid!
just wanted to share!

...just kidding. It will be only in the ball park of 2400 lb.

I would go down to Sears and buy a wirefeed welder with the money you saved and weld that puppy up, everywhere 2 different pieces of metal touch...Yup that's what I'd do...

I guess the 300 sq. ft fishroom will have to due.
