Hey, I live in a condo on the forth floor and was wondering what you all thought about setting up a 270g acrylic? It will be placed beside a load baring wall but I'm not so sure if it's a good idea anymore. It's just over 2000lbs of water alone.

Is it a wood floor or concrete? I live on the second floor, but we have a concrete slap as a floor.

you will be fine.... i wouldnt worry................. lol

btw it will weigh around 3,000 lbs full.Be sure to have homeowners policy to cover possible damge from the aquarium

Just wondering how much will insurance cost?

on high rise buildings, concrete is tested at 5000 lbs psi in break tests. set it up and watch your fish and have fun. the worst thing that can happen is your tank leaking.
