Figured this was the proper place to set up this build. Sorry if it's considered a repost. I bought a 275 cube almost a year ago so it's satisfying to finally see it becoming a reality. The tanks dimensions are 40x40x40 with a center overflow in the middle of it. I've had numerous lfs people say that would be a dream reef tank but it's not my style. The tankmates is still up in the air. In order to get the tank into the house I had to actually cut a hole in the house and make it a large window. That took a lot of talk with the misses. After the window install I had to reenforce the floor because obviously it's going to be heavy. Had multiple people come out and inspect the reenforceing and decided that it would hold the weight. I now have the lovely task of sanding the tank and grinding the stand and rewelding it. I'm still up in the air on sumps and pumps but have a vague idea of what I might use. Any input is welcomed and will try to supply pictures of the build along the way.
