what size did you purchase and when? how has the growth of the fish gone? inches per month? what do you feed and how often. tank size and tank mates? thanks.

not mine fish, i'm keeping it for my friend, he got the araipima at Fishwarehouse for $300 at 5-6" inches 3 years ago, was in a 180gallons tank, feeded frozen shrimp, every 2 days, he's housed with a 23" crossback & 26" platinum giant gourami before, i got him for about a month already, i'm keeping him with my peacock basses and gars, i don't have money to feed him frozen shrimp so i changed his diet to DOG Food and he love it.
