I talked to a member on here that had a large ID shark that he wanted to rehome. He was located in lincoln nabraska about 380miles from where I live in iowa. And after thinking it over for 10min I decided I couldn't pass it up and sense I had the weekend off I decided to drive out on Sunday.

A drive this long calls for the smartcar!

Driving threw iowa...if you havnt been to iowa just look at this picture..Great now you never have to come here as the whole state looks just like this pic. Frozen corn fields

This is why I like the smart..driving there and back cost less than shipping!

After watching the original owner catch him, which in the process I was for sure he would break the tank but didn't. Anyway we got him into the container and loaded it into the car

Only 6 more hours until hes at his new home! Even with the lid on he did a damn good job at splashing water outside the container.

Not home yet :(

well 800miles later me and vinny arrived home in a very wet smartcar.

1.5hrs later its time to put him in the pond. I can tell hes enjoying his new home. he scares the crap out of my oscars though. lol I have never seen them run away from anything before.

Nice fish!! What are those little minnows swimming around in there? Fry?

There are a bunch of convicts, bumblebee cichlids, and p. Acari in there. They keep the activity level up when the cats decide to be lazy

Hmm, and the cats don't eat them, I'm guessing due to the huge amount of space? I may try this in the 600, my rtc is the laziest fish ever :grinno:
