im wondering whats some good filter setups for this tank, i was thinking of doing a fluidized bed filtler but how would i go about making one of these?

Best of what i can think of is a large Wet/Dry (w) an auto water changer.

there are multiple threads on how to make and install both around the forum.

wow umm could some one explain to me how a wet dry works i was just thinking of doing a much simpler wet dry were the water goes throug ha spray bar onto bio material then drains through a sponge filter and then goes back into the tank?

that sounds like a supreme idea to me, cept mech filtration(sponge) before bio id say.
im setting up a sump and your idea sounds a lot simpler than what im doing
youd need some circulation in your tank though, some powerheads or something

heres what im finaly doing, the sump wet/dry filter, and then a undergravle jet filter, im using 2 powerheads w 5 jets for each powerhead

sounds good- you cant beat a wet/dry sump. i personally would throw a canister on also, and dump the under gravel filter (imo they dont really help esp. when you have fish that dig-they make an ugf system obsolete) and use pvc to create an under gravel-sand jet system- ive built them and they help crap from settling in between rocks and on the bottom so much.
