280lb wells caught in Italy

Its definitely the largest catfish I have seen , wells that is. I remember watching Jeremy Wade while he was trying to get his hands on a well in Spain. But it was smaller fish compare to this one. Wonder if people keep this as a pet
 
i think a one could be added to the 280 but slightly surprised this was caught in italy most of the big wels captures i've heard of have been around russia and the ebro and a few from germany any chance this could be photoshoped or taken in a way that distorts the true size?
