What type of plecos can I keep in a 29 gallon tank for life and is possible to keep 2?

Pitbull plecos stay really small. You could keep 2 in a 29.

Bristle nose stay small and are easy to breed if you are looking for something you can breed. They are pretty easy to sex as well once they get some size to them.

pitbull plecos are somewhat active for plecos from what ive heard too

Thats the Bristlenose Pleco - I have a couple in a 20gal.

The bulldog pleco.

Both max out about 5 inches, but I would go with the BN as a first pleco. They are easier to find, breed and less fussy to feed.

Ribberlip plecos stay pretty small and aren't that aggressive... unless someone messes with his algae disc...
