Hey all, i have a spare 29 laying around with everything but a heater lol and was looking at native fish. As far as i know its legal in colorado to own certain natives, so what would be the possibilities in this tank? Thank you

29's are odd tanks, with the small footprint and a taller water column. you need to stick with smaller fish that aren't too territorial. I copied this from jonah's aquarium site, compatibility page.
orange spotted sunfish aren't on the list, you would probably be ok with a pair of those, especially if you got females.

Tiny Fish Tank:
Elassoma zonatum, banded pygmy sunfish
Elassoma evergladei, Everglades pygmy sunfish
Elassoma okeefenokee, okeefenokee pygmy sunfish
Etheostoma serrifer, sawcheek darter
Etheostoma fusiforme, swamp darter
Pteronotropis stonei, lowland shiner
Lucania goodei, bluefin killifish
Heterandria formosa, least killifish, pygmy livebearer
Lucania parva, rainwater killifish
Cambarellus shufeldtii, dwarf crayfish

I have a 29 gal that is set up as a brackish tank for mollies. Black banded sunfish are sweet small fish too. As are mud minnows.

Thanks for the list i appreciate it. I was looking at some of the dwarf cichlids or killifish. I was thinking of a sculpin but im not sure on the legality or where i would possibly find one in Colorado.
@docturtle, i dont mind a brackish tank but would want something like archers or something lol. I do like the look of the black banded sunfish though. I will do some research on a few of those metioned and see what some other people think. Thanks again guys!
