29 gallon stocking options

i have a 29 gallon tank at college and was wondering stocking options for it. i have a 125 and a 120 at home to put them in after they out grow it. i was thinking two flower horns or two dovii any one else have ideas??

Personally I wouldn't go with either you would have to rehome it in 6 months or sinner to prevent stunning. I would go with something smaller. Maybe a pair of convicts or a firemouth. Some more suited for that tank cause to be honest when I first read what fish you thought of I thought you was trolling.

Honduran Red Point are cool. A lot like Convicts, so be prepared for babies if you get a male/female.

That tank is too small to grow out a large fish like a dovii. I don't even know but even his larger tanks might too small. A flowerhorn could work in a 120 or 125 Idk about a dovii they might need something in the 200-300 gallon range.

Go with a bunch of inverts and maybe a fish or 2.
