29 gallon stocking

Hello everyone..
I recieved a free 29 gallon tank and it is going in my basement in the family room. I am not sure what kind of fish i want to put in it. I know i want a white sand bottom and probaly some river rocks. I was thinking either a couple of african cichlids or mabye some convicts. What i really wanted to do is buy 2 discus around 1 inch and put them in there with a lot of neons or cardinals. All suggestions are welcome of what i should stock this with..

I would put some convicts or some fire mouths in the tank.

With Discus your gonna have to get a bigger tankk pretty quickly. You know this right??

i would go with 4 to 5 rams and some neon tetras and fake or real plants and a black back ground to add to your white sand. IMHO.
