29 gallon tank

i just got a 29g tank, its undergoing a cycle right now. im wondering as to what i should put in the tank.. i want it to be empty bottom with a piece of driftwood, and i want a fish(s) that will compliment the tank nicely



and one more thing, i have a HOB filter running, and i was considering getting a powerhead, do I really need one?

You wouldn't really need a powerhead for a 29g unless you decided to stock it with fish that require current.

As far as what you want to put in it, well, that's up to you. Just stick with fish that aren't going to get too big, unless you have the means to provide a larger tank when they get bigger.
