29 gallon?

I have a spare 29 gallon tall tank. We have a LFS selling med. 3''-4'' mixed Mbuna for 2 for 12. Could this tank support 4 of them and a rubber lip pleco?

unless your planning on getting a bigger tank later on, then yes. if not, then no. fish grow btw.

with proper filtration and w\c's you could support that many, (assuming you bought 12 of them..... have LOTS of caves and rockwork. Many hiding places is key.

It really depends on what type of mbuna. Some need more room than others. Otherwise they start killing each other off. I would say it could work short term but a larger tank would be needed later.

I had a 20 gallon yellow lab tank, but they ended up having to go into the 55 until I got ride of them because of aggression.
