29 hex or 29 rect?

I have the chance to trade up my standard 29 gallon for a 29 gallon hex and I was just wondering do you guys think it would be a wise choice for my crested gecko? He is going to be staying by himself in it for life IDK if he would rather have climbing space or floor space?

well there is almost no diff. except the hex will be more b.a. looking set up

The hex is taller so yes, your gecko will take advantage of the verticle space.
