Here is my 29 gallon and its mini-monster inhabitants.

They include my nandus nandus (3") polyterus senegal (4") leopard ctenopoma (1 1/2") and although u can't see it, the african butterfly (2 1/2")

i was thinking about a butis butis....maybe when i move my senegal to a 55 gallon tank later on.

welp, these guys really are monsters. I just put in 2 dozen feeders since i gotta load them up before i am gone this weekend, and i feed them feeders once a week (not to mention i had a dead rope i needed to exchange for fish) and ya, leaf fish just kills like 4 of them right off the bat, the senegal chases one down and eats it, the butterfly fish finds one towards the top and crams it down his mouth, the little leopard cten kills a small one, but can't fit it in his mouth so he spits it back out and tries to rip off pieces, and my newly rescued cat just stares them down lol.

Wonderful looking tank your senegal and my senegal are the same size and color cool. Love the catfish do you think that I could keep one with a tiger oscar, african knife, peacock eel of course in a 120 at least I hope.

yes, these cats get to around 10 in......hopefully mine will approach that, but sadly he has been stunted.

they can be kept singly or in groups, they don't really care as long as they get a nice tank and some food.

they stuff themselves, and get a marble-golf ball sized belly (depending on how big they themselves are) and they can live off of this food for up to a week.

Score now trick is convincing parents into another tank and getting the fourlined pitcus large enought to not be eaten. Thanks for the info on this wonderful fish.
