So I have had an empty 29G that has never held water and I am about ready to do something with it. I really want to set up a little saltwater tank. I am wondering I have the tank filter and heater. I have an old protein skimmer (I don't know if it even works or how to work it). I am wondering if a 29G is stable enough to set up salt water, also what is EVERYTHING I need to set it up? And how much will it cost me for a 29G to turn into a saltwater. Thanks

Itll be stable ish as longas uhave a sumpto increase the volume of water a 29 gallon might cost about 700 on the friendly side to set up ull need 30 lbs of live sand and some live rock, marine grade salt, a hydrometer ti measure salinty, api reef master test kit, if u will be keeping corals and want a reef tank 700 is out of the question , its gonna cost almost that much for lights, a hob filter wont work for a Primary source of filtration u need to do ALOT more research... Saltwater is not easy! Good luck
