I have a 29g tank with 1 female convict, 1 Green Terror, 1 blood parrot. I want to add some more fish to this tank. The female convict is very laid back and has never touched anyone in this tank. The Green Terror is actually stunned so hes staying around 2inches and the blood parrot is very sneaky and most of the times stays in his driftwood/cave thingy i made him.

I have 2 questions:

Question 1:

What kind of catfish could i keep in here that would get a maximum of 6-8 max. Or i would like 2-3 smaller species of cats that stay around 2 inches.
What species am i limited to?

Question 2:

I would also like a school of a dithers. i was thinking some kind of tetras or barbs but i am not sure wat species is the fastest and stay in a school.
Can you tell me what i am limited to here?

i was thinking either Tiger Barbs or Neon Tetras? is this right or no?

O and also the Green Terror is stunned because when i first bought him he was in poor shape and had ick and fin rot like no other. I finally got him into good shape then something went wrong and he stopped eating for a week or two and it has been about 4 months since then and he has not grown a centimeter since then so my conclusion is that i think he is stunned:(

Answer 1: African squeaker catfish grow a maximum of 6-8 inches, and they squeak when you pull them out of the water. Corydoras may be fine aswell.

Answer 2: Definity not neons. Possibly zebra danios, or giant danios. Tiger barbs would rip everything to shreds unless you had a huge school of 10-15. This would increase your bio-load alot.

Q1- A raphael cat would most likely do well.
Q2- You could go with some congo tetras or giant danios.

giant danios would work for dithers. thats what i use to bring some life to my tank, and as for the GT being stunted they are very slow growers like JD's, so just be prepared to move him/her to a bigger tank when he/she finally starts growing. congrats on saving the little one though. can always appreciate someone trying to improve the life of another living thing.

yeah the Green Terror is starting to get a lil more aggressive and eating more and more

I love the African squeaker catfish does anyone know how much they go for around New Jersey and the raphael cat as well

Thank you all
