29g tank stocking

Just bought a tree root plant that I’ve mentioned in an earlier thread and 20lb bag of white sand for my 29g and saw bubble bee catfish and fell in love, I’ve kept one before and I loved him so much but he died to ich. I’m thinking of having some Java fern, Anubias, the tree root, and maybe a water lily or some type of African plant with maybe 4 bumblebee catfish and a couple lampeye tetra or thread fin or turquoise rainbow fish. Would this stocking be okay?

Would work out perfect. Only thing I’d mention is that it lacks a centerpiece fish. I’d get a small cichlid like an acara.

What type of acara? Electric blue? What are some other centerpiece cichlids that would work

Electric works, also regular blue, convicts and relatives, or dwarf cichlids.

I think an African fish that could be a centerpiece could be a Leopard Bushfish. But an Acara would work.

Would a leopard bush fish work for a 29 centerpiece with bumble bee cats and tetras?

So a tank of 3 bumble bee cats, 2 lampeye tetras, 2 Buenos Aires tetras and an electric blue acara would be good?
