29g with 2 female convicts

My wife has a 29g we are fishless cycling ...should be done in a week or so.

She has her heart set on getting 2 convicts for it... Will 2 female convicts get along good in a 29g? I dont want to have to deal with the endless amount of fry that a mating pair would dish out so if 2 females would get along this is the route we want to take.

Two is easy...you could even go with three or four.

Would 2 males get the same answer??? She just informed me that she might like to get 2 males instead of females if she can....

Females. Though females can get territorial and have it out sometimes males get considerably larger and are capable of doing more damage to one another.
Besides, females have better color.

As much as I love my female con, I really wish I had a male. I love the pint size body with the big nuchal hump. Multiple females would be fine. If you wanted male, I'd go with one and add some other small fish with him.

itd be fine. I cycled my 20g long with breeding convicts and returned the parents within he 14 day period at petsmart. But one male or 2-3 females would be my suggestion.
