Well i got a very late notice from my family that the house will be tented. I just got home last night and now have to move everything outside. How should i go about this?

18inch CK be keep in a 60g or a 100g The 100g cant be filled up all the way. has to stay a inch or 2 from the top cuz i dont have overflow done. should be fine

Should i use the same water from the fish tank 100% or do a 50/50 in the new tank?

can the FX5 run level with the tank?

What about my gravel? They said they will seal of all my tanks i leave inside. I cant save all my plants but im going to try.

Should i rap all my tanks in blankets? I also know to keep them out of sunlight.

This is in CA so the night are getting crazy lows. Ill be doubling the Watts per tank to keep them warm. and have fail safes.

Any more idea that can make it up here in a day or 2. thanks. Im in a rush sorry for the double post.

All tanks left in will die. If you seal them they will get no air. If you give them air they will die from the poison.

I personally would use the smaller tank and just do water changes if needed. Just keep your filter media going. (IE use your Fx5). And yah it can run level with the tank, it won't work quite as well, and starting it might be a pain. Make sure the tubbing isn't going to get kinked and such. (The auto shut off likely wont get rid of the air.)

Where are you putting your tanks? IE confused on the blankets and sunlight. But I figure you are saying they are going to get cold hence outside. So it would be impossible for you to take a tank to wherever you are sleeping at?

ug i have to leave them in the drive way..... patio will be covered too. How should i go about making a small stand? something to keep it off the ground that is ground level? just lay playwood down and a blanket on top? or make a small 2x4 thing?

If it were me, I'd go out and get some rubbermaid tubs. Dump fish, gravel, ect in them. Hook up and run filters and heaters with extension cords. Empty your tanks and plan on cleaning them well.

The only tub i can get a hold off are the thin 60g... I am running two extension line out side. I cant do the gravel... way to much of it and not enough time. So onces all the fish are out all just seal the tanks. I have loads of Fluorite in 2 tanks im not moving that stuff.
