So I had 1 breeding pair and a extra male krib. The pair were in their own 20 long. They layed eggs and the female at them all after about 2 days. I guess this is common for the first batch.

I picked up a 2nd female krib for my lonely guy Sunday and low and behold he laid eggs last night. She's protecting them.

So the last ones laid about a week after i got them. She laid eggs just a few days after I got here.

My lonely male isn't so lonely anymore. So now I have 2 breeding pairs each in their own 20 long.

Snapped a picture of her guarding her pot. The eggs are just barley visible behind her.

So far so good. 3 days now. Looks like few are missing but there is easily over 50 still on the pot.

I also have 3 Zebra danios in the tank with them. I'm considering moving them out today. I'm not sure if they would eat the little guys but don't really want to chance it.

They were there to cycle the tank and have never left.

FAIL! She ate her batch of eggs while I was out yesterday.

I think maybe next time I'll let her lay the eggs and then pull her and the male out of the tank and move her to a temporary home. I really like Kribs and want to raise some fry for the fun of it. I also have a few people that would buy my kribs if any survived....
