2x 2ft+ arapima on aqua classifieds!

ok guys" there"s a guy selling 2 2ft+ arapima on a classified site! Just wonted to know how old these fish would be!! and there growth rait per year!! He"s asking £300 each for these!!

would these need paperwork like asian arowana!

theyre legal and dont need any paperwork but theyre probably around a year old and expect it to grow another 2 feet in a year then itll slow down to about 1 foot per year until its around 8'-10'. If you want to get them make sure you have a 10,000 gallon tank minimum

They don't get to 8'-10' in captivity although you're gonna' need a pond or a huge tank.

my lfs has monster fish and has a pen with several of those some peacock bass an awesome display a must have if you have the set up

Nice comeback........They should start to get the red in their tail at around their current size but in the wild they eat some sort of freshwater crab that really brings out the red coloring.
