2x Spotted gar reaction to a new addition

So I currently have two 9" Spotted gars in my 180 they appear extremely laid back . They are the only fish in tank at the moment . I ve been offered a 9" Peacock bass which is housed with a smaller green terror and chases the Bass about, my question is how can I expect my gars to react to the new addition ?

I ve also been offered a 10" Red Pike , which is currently housed with a lot smaller Acaras and Severums and the Pike has no interest in them. Very tempted to try the Pike also.

I'd do it, just have a bigger tank when the p bass grows and make sure your gar get enough to eat

Gars and peacock bass would be a bad Idea

Bass go berserk, during feeding times, or when they show aggression, on the contrary gars are graceful fish, and when spooked can crash into the walls of the tank and injure their spines

If the gars were big, and the bass was small you would've had time, till the bass grew.
