3/4 inch aquarium vac?

I was wondering if anyone ever became really annoyed with 1/2 aquarium vacs like me. When you're cleaning big tank it takes way way too long. I've looked for something larger for vacuuming the crap out of the rocks but everything appears to be 1/2 inch. What gives? Does anyone know of bigger vacs?

You can get vinyl tubing and make your own. I drain my tank with a 1290gph pump and 1" vinyl tubing. I can drain 55 gallons in a just a few minutes.

Just draining a tank is no prob I have some larger tubing I use for that, and sometimes I do use a pump. It would sure be nice to have a larger vacuum like a python for cleaning out the rocks. Something beefy ya know.

Attach the 1" tube to the screw top of a modified half gallon milk jug, with the bottom cut out.

I use a old odyssea cfs500 canister that kept pissing me off with leaky valves. I believe the hoses are 1". I put a small prefilter over the pump intake. It's a beast for this job and does good for pulling SW out of a barrel to. I have to make sure I don't get distracted because it will suck out all the water in a heart beat.

I was running a mag350 like this but it finally gave up the ghost after a ridiculous amount of yrs. It did a fantastic job though.
