will this work boys???????????? i know its crazy but if they were all in a 280 gallon tank with lots of hiding spaces and i get them as babies will this be ok.i got excelent filtration to take care of the messy stuff,,,,,what u think????????????

Don't understand why we keep gettin non-cichlid related topics in here...lol. African pikes, as in not African Tiger Fish right? Your tank is rather large, so the aggression should stay down for a little bit....really don't know much about them...
It sounds like it should work. what kind of baracodas? Eventually the gar might snack on the smaller types but you should have a while, All 3 types are more eaters than fighters.
They will end up as snacks due to the size difference but you have a while, as soon as the gar gets more than 20-25% bigger swap em out.Dino88 said:
