This should last them for a little while. The tank is 92 X 24 X 36 I will have had them for a year July 15. The longest aro is right at 20" :naughty: They are a little beat up from being moved 2 times in the last week but they seem to like thier new home. The tank is was just set up yesterday with well cycled media.

Their tank is awfully bare...planning to add anything else?.

Yes a Leopoldi pup that is being flown in today and a little sand. everything but the aros and tinfoil barbs will go back in my 125 when he is ready.

Here is a action shot taken today. The pup is in my 125 until I am confident the 300 is fully cycled and all the filtration bugs are worked out.

Be careful with the leo and arrows together. I had 3 leo's and a silver in a 125 and one day the arrow decided to bite one of my leo's, he never recovered and I ended up getting rid of arrow. That was a silver and I fed live food, night crawlers, bloodworms and sometimes rosies(fish). I now get all my arrows including my current jardini on floating sticks, they seem to be less agressive at feeding time that way, also hickari floating sticks helped me get my black arrow a very cool red ring around tail and top and bottom fins, if I can ever figure out how to add picks to my posts I would add a picture of what I am talking about. Tank looks great by the way, yes a little empty but fish like it.

Nice:thumbsup: They look to be growing rapidly.

congrates!

Thanks

Thanks for the advise. The only live food they get now are crawlers chopped up. The other day the middle sized aro and a clown loach went for the same chunk of Pollock fillet the aro had about 3/4ths of one of the smaller clown loaches in its mouth but spit them both out like right now, I think it freaked it out a little or the loach used it's barbs in defense. It really seams the only aggression they have is towards each other but even that is pretty limited. the best way to describe it is like the 3 stooges type of slap stick.

Thanks Brian. They are growing pretty well, lots of good food and big w/c's seem to be the trick.

The reason for no decorations in the tank yet is that it would have to all come out to catch the fish that will be moved back into the 125. I am a pretty big guy and I can just barely reach the bottom of the tank and I have to lay on the top of the tank to do that.
