So my Climbing Perch just sucked down a big Blind Cave Fish whole and the greedy bastard can't swallow it . . .the cave tetra's tail is just hanging out of his mouth. Do these things usually clear up on their own with more time, or do I need to take action . . .?

It will digest it. I had a 4" Texas that ate a 3" Chinese Algae Eater. It took him about 2 days to finish it.
i spend more then that on food daily. see if the perch gets it all the way down later, if he can't he'll spit it out
I use to have 5 little bass from 3.5 inches to 5 inches. Now I am down to 4 bass the 3.5 incher is in someones stomach.
well, the crisis is over . . .the perch spat up the cave fishes mutilated corpse, so I'm gonna go fish him out with the net and give him a burial in the Seattle sewage system
