randomly taking pictures of everything earlier and I remembered why I love convicts..

This is a fish I've had longer than any of my other fish. I have a breeding pair but the female is not pictured. I can't remember for sure but I think I got them at my first fish auction about 2 or 3 years ago for $2 or $3.

I have always loved convicts and I will probably always own one or more given the space but I'm not really into breeding them any more. Right now I just have the pair of pinks and 1 fancy convict from a weird collection point from Ken Davis I can't remember the name of. I saw some nice marbled ones at the LFS a while back I thought about getting but I passed on them. I don't plan on getting any new ones but you never know. Convicts are awesome.

I don't feed him anything special at all. A mix of new life spectrum, omega one, hikari, and kensfish.com food. With my experience male convicts usually fill out with age. This one isn't even that stocky IMO he is kind of average. Find one that looks like this at a young age and raise him for 2-3 years and see what you end up with.
