Please help me pick some cool fish for this tank. I got it for FREE and need some help to pick some cool fish for it.
I was thinking a semi-planted tank with a few clown loaches, and a few tiger barbs. How long does it take dats to grow out? My lfs Has a few that are 1".

a 3? no clowns maybe 2 1" dats. You could get 1 of the more unknown lil' fish there are lots of interesting little fish.

How come not clowns?
How long would it take for the dat's to outgrow the tank?

probably wouldnt take long, make a semi-planted tank with a few smaller species of cory cat and some kind of tetras.

well in my experience they are just too boisteroous and love to go mental so a larger tank fo those times when they like to spaz out.

I went and got 5 tiger barbs and 2 clown loaches.

The tank is just too small for both Clown Loaches and Tiger Barbs.

If you want something really cool go with a nano reef setup or a very small heavy planted tank with bunch of Neon Tetras (Paracheirodon innesi).
