my dempseys are well... insane
they can't seem to make up their mind as to who is tank alpha lol
its always a guess as to who is terrorizing the tank now.
either way they are as follows
1 female 2.5/2.75 inches oldest tank member and original tank terror
2 male 2.75-3 inches youngest addition and current tank terror
3 male 3-3.25 second addition brief occupation as tank terror (2 days)
they are all in a 55 and as far as I can tell there certainly isn't a pairing especially seeing as how they're a tad young for it (another couple of months though
)
whats weirder is the fact that eventually the tank terror gets tired of being a terror and goes and chills with the other two fish before starting up again
-sigh- cichlids gotta love em but sometimes its hard to like em.
I can think of two reasons: being territorial or just doesn't like competition for food? any suggestions and remedies besides separating or returning fish those two are saved for last ditch measures.
