Went to the LFS today in search of a CK, but instead left with an African Knife, a Centipede Knife, and a Glass Knife. Now, I normally never have any luck with Glass Knives, but I am going to try one more time. And the last Centipede Knife died because the light on the tank got the tank temp. too warm. He is now in a different tank, different light, and I'm trying to feed him blood worms. And the African Knife if about 6", a fairly large African Knife.
Here are the VERY CRAPPY pics, lol.

Nice! As far as I know...Glass Knives are pretty sensitive to water quality. They prefer soft acidic water and do best in groups.

Thanks. I would of purchased another Glass, but they only had the one. I was hoping that he would choose to hang around the Centipede Knife.
The African Knife, IMO, was in bad condition when I purchased him, but I figured that I would bring him back to good health. He is underweight, but has been eating Blood worms as of last night.
Still haven't seen the Centipede Knife eat, but the others have. Even the newest Carapo, lol.

good luck with these fish.

i just about gave up on knife fish after killing all 3 of those types. i still am not rady to re try the more fragile types of knifes again

I almost gave up with Knives after losing my E. humboldtii, Centipede, and Glass Knives, but I just got back into it, lol.
