3 Motoros (2F&1M) Too Much for a 240G?

Just wondering what you guys thought... I know the females get larger and bigger than the males.

Footprint: 72x32x24

If this is definitely pushing the limits pls let me know. Just contemplating.

I agree, won't last for life but will last a few years depending on how big they are.
 
I agree that it won't last them for life, but for about how long can I hose those 3 together for if the current size is 3-4"

And how long, if I just housed two (M&F)? Does it even make a difference? Cause either way that tank is too small for life.
 
Almost forgot,

Is there anything negative about housing two females together? I know that two mature males is a big no-no.

Could I get away with more years with just two instead of three rays?

I just want to maximize the time I have with this new tank.

yup

less bio load would last a little longer
 
Like stated above, but if Bio load is your concern then increase Filtration adding more Bio Media.
I like two females as it keeps all the attention from being placed on one female
when they reach maturity.
