3 new bd/leo pups born last night

i cut up market shrimp and put it in with a pound of live black worms to get them eating then i ween them off the live into market shrimp only.i usually wait 3 days to feed them but my last batch of mm and p14 all ate the first day so now i feed the first day.

yup i found that it depends on how long the female holds the pups. my last 2 litters were held very long, they had no yolk sacs and they started eating right away. litters in the past were held for shorter periods and started eating in the 3 day range after the yolk sac was absorbed
