YUMMY!!!

First of all I want to say the rays look absolutely fantastic!

When I look at these rays though I find that they differ so much from the rays we know as p14 or Potamotrygon sp. Itaituba. I know people that have been breeding p14's for years, like T. Peters, F. Zijlmans, B. Zimny and A. Ochs. They have all had some amazing offspring. When you look at their breeding adult rays which are ugly in comparisson to these F1 animals the question is: How is this possible?
Better nurishment, better waterquality, you name it ....

And till what extent will the spots grow? I know a some of them are getting a little help from the Leopoldi line, not that this matters to me, aslong as they aren't sold as pure bred p14, but the improvement (if thats what you can call it) in some of these pure bred p14's is remarkable. I have seen some fantastic looking wild caught p14's lately, some completely covered in galaxy spotting, but nowhere near to the size on these pics. Has anyone seen a wikdcaught one with these enormous spots?

To be continued ...
