I have a 1000 titanium rod heater set up and i want to use it in my 240 gallon tank my 3 questions are
1) are titanium heaters safe for acrylic tanks, can they melt the acrylic?
2) whats the best placement in an 8x2x2 tank? (no sump)
3) i don't have the original holders the keep the rid in place, what else can i use to keep the rod secure to the tank that won't melt?
