3. I use the pretend to feed then come with a net from above the water method lol.

<<I dont think it would....The potential there, should it get stressed, is to take out your entire tank when it dumps its guts...bad juju...>>

<<Boxer shrimp are sexually dimorphic...A good give away though, for females, is to look for the greeny blue color ovarys...this can be seen because their body is basically translucent..>>

<<I usually use two nets....one to chase, the other to catch....chasing it with one net usually aids in getting the fish to swim into the other net...>>

regarding the catching - i think you mean from the sea?
you can use a drift net, corral a bunch of fish then use a scoop net to pick the ones you want off. there're also traps.

I have a black cuke in both my larger tanks. They help keep the substrate clean & nice & white. Like one of those automatic vacuum cleaners.
