Awesome it would be cool to see if any of the young would inherit this trait. I had an angelfish with 2 dorsal fins. I have a thread with the pix somewhere on MFK. I didn't manage to breed mine but i hope u'll be able to start a new line of angelfish GL

Hi Guys,

The video was taking more than a year ago.The purpose of this study is to know if this pair will give out any young fish that has multiple ventral fins. The answer is no. Where ever if their young carry multiple ventral fins gene to its next generation ? If two of the parents both have multiple ventral fins,would they produce fries with 3 or more ventral fins ? These questions still unknow. The study has been terminated.

The fish was priceless. Thanks

Try breeding one of the fry with the parent that has 3 fins. That's usually how they bring out a recessive gene and create a line.
