Very large fire eel 30" long hasn't eaten for 4 days now not swimming around upright prefers to lie on floor on side or almost upside down it seems , any suggestions??

I’d suggest dosing some kanamycin. 1/2 the total dose initially. If it’s not worsened then add the other 1/2 in 12hrs. Add some Epsom salt to the tank at 1 tbsp per 5g.

Do you have an aquarium test kit so you can post your water parameters? Looking for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH.

Ammonia should aways be zero. Odds are your filter either isn't fully cycled or simply isn't up to the task of the bioload you have in your tanks. Suggest an immediate water change to reduce ammonia.

You definitely shouldn't have 0ppm nitrate with that stocking, unless you've tested your water directly after a huge water change. And, as mentioned, your ammonia should be 0ppm. How are you testing your water? What % of water changes do you do, and how often? Any other fish under the weather?
