Hey guys I need some help.. So my 30 gallon has little parasitic worms in it and I need to know what I should do about it. I see the little worms squirming around in the water and afraid they will kill my fish. I have a 2 and a half inch Indo dat and a 5 or 6 inch Mono Peacock bass. What is the best chemical I should use to kill the worms? And yes this is just a grow out tank for them. Please let me know what I should do about it. Thanks a lot!

Sounds like planaria, you probably have uneaten food. Do a large water change and cut back on the feeding and you should be fine.

Yeah worldbelow is right, you got planaria. I had the same problem with one of my takes and it freaked me out. They dont harm your fish at all. Do the heavy water change and clean out your filter. I had a mud build up in my filter and thats where they were coming from with me.

I had that in my tank too. They r harmless. Just make sure u scoop out uneaten foods and dont overfeed
