30 Gallon cube baby pbass growout?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
do you plan on stocking it with datnoids as well? You can grow any small fish out in any size tank, but you're going to have to upgrade at some point.... I grew out 5 orinos in a 10 gallon, but they outgrew it in about 2 months.

datnoids aren't really a issue. Peacock bass on the other hand, can be a pain. I found the best way is to feed the bloodworm cubes first. Once they start eating that, they will eventually eat pellets. there's also a few stickies on how to begin the transition from feeders to other foods.

Agreed with Milkman.

I also find it better to raise baby bass in a small tank. It will help them find the food better, it will help with water changes, it will help with meds (if needed) and so on. I would skip the bloodworms and start with cut up shrimp.

Yes the smaller the better in a tank that size, they will outgrow the tank very fast. You'll have to show us some pics when u get them
