Haven't been on in a while the one where you can see the anubias better is the latest picture of my planted 29. Actually, looks different even a week since I took this. The dwarf sagitarius is really filling in nice.
I just started playing with plants in a sand substrate, they are a real PITA to insert in the sand and some are so fragile the break apart and get stuck in the intake tube.
Yes, I hate sand. I think it only looks good in black, because it gets dirty. I a 3 layer system of dirt, fluorite, and then gravel. Plants need nutrients from the roots.
