im getting a thirty gallon from my bro,and was wondering what predator would i be able to get ??could crayfish be an opton and what other predators can you think of for it ???

Yea, them red wolf fish stay small, also there's a species of piranha that stays 4inch... Forget its name but a bit of research and a piranha specialist would get you goin! One of the rainbow snakeheads are also wicked little fish, eat whole prawns and bugs.... If you go on tropical fish finder then look at wildwood's stocklist they have a great selection, they are near london but do mail order! Good luck.
Thalassophryne Amazonica aka Prehistoric Monster Fish could be kept in a 30g no problem, they grow to around 6" I believe, but not easy to find and probably not all that interesting to those who don't share my enthusiasm for sedentary ambush predators. Figured I would mention it anyway, I would buy one in a heartbeat if I could find one (only seen them at lfs once, and I didn't have a tank running at the time).
Idk about the pair of cons being predators. But dwarf puffers or south American puffers will look nice in a well planted 30. It's fun watching them hunt ghost shrimp.

im not sure on dimensoins because i didnt have a tape measure with me at the time lol but i like catfish,chiclids and really like oddballs but not puffers as ive tried and tried and just cant get it right for them but i do like oddball predators
