Im gonna start my 30 gallon reef tank soon, and am looking for any suggestions on lighting. Anyone know of a good light that will work for a 30 gallon reef.

Check out www.aquatraders.com they have the cheapest prices and my friends and I have had success with their lights on everything from reef to planted to fish only. Worth the 10 seconds I would say.

1-150w mh with 14k bulbs would be perfect. maybe 1 with a few moonlight leds.

jbj makes a nice 1 little pricey though.

I know I just got a T5 Aqualife 6 bulb, and my corals in my tank seem to really like it. Plus it come with built in timers, Moon lights, fans, and it only takes one outlet. They are a little expensive, but I have no heat gain in my tank, or in my apartment. I am a fan of this light!
