30 gallon reef tank help plz .

ok i have a 30 gallon bow front tank which used to be freshwater but now going salt. The tank is empty and put fresh saltwater in today..i have 3 filters for it so filtration is done. But i was wondering what light should i get and what heater.i have all the supplements. Also what be good fish to put in there..i want peaceful fish that would fit in a 30g reef

Are you planning to keep coral?

what kinda coral's you wanna keep that will be the first key to what lighting to get also most reef fish are peaceful just have to research the species your considering to avoid those nasty one's. If you need further help just send me a Private Message.

try to get a lighting system with atleast 3-4 watts per gallon. t5 HO are popular, i kinda like metal halide tho(get a electric ballast).

I only recommend 2 or 3 small fish at most in the tank unless you get a protein skimmer, as you may find it hard to keep some corals in a heavily stocked tank(you could have more, but i hate wc's in saltwater tanks). remember to research the different skimmers as they vary tremedousily.

you probably want atleast one small chunk of live rock. a powerhead or two for flow.
if possible use RO water to prevent algae.
