So. Currently im running a wet/dry on my 90 gallon. I made it out of a 20 gallon tank. Just recently i added an eheim canister filter along with a rena xp2(canister) thats been up and running for while. I have an extra 30 gallon tank laying around. My idea is to scrap the 20gallon wet/dry i have on there and replace it with a full 30 gallon sump. So ill have the water capacity of a 120gallon(ruffly). I have a couple questions if you guys could give me your advice and help. I need you guys more then ever

1)Should i keep the 20gallon wet/dry, or should i go with the 30 gallon sump with the 2 canisters running? one mechanical one biological??

2)If i do go with the 30 gallon sump. Any ideas on how to keep the water pump a few inchs below water level incase the overflow decides to stop working? Maybe just silicone a shelf Or should i just risk it and let it sit on the bottom? any exp.?

3)Anyone think weight would be an issue? an extra 220-240lbs
