I want to know how many of each of these species I can put in my 30 gallon with live rock and want to know if they will all live together. New to salt but want a few of these fish. Also with my algea cleaners let me know how many of each my tank can handle. I want this to be a reefsafe tank so let me know if i made the right choices, thanks John

Fish stock/ will they all live together?

Flame angelfish
Redstripe Angelfish
Barletts anthias
Maldives Lyretail Anthias
Kauderns Cardinal
Spotted Cardinalfish
Yellowstripe Maroon clown
Bluedot jawfish
Yellowhead Jawfish
Yellow tangs

Cleaners : How many of each do I need to keep up with the algea?

Emareld Crabs
Dwarf Blue leg hermits
scarlet reef hermit
peppermint shrimps
Astraea turbo snails
cerith snails
nassarius snails

I'll post pics of my setup tomorrow.

Flame angelfish - all angels eat coral and fight other angels
Redstripe Angelfish
Barletts anthias
Maldives Lyretail Anthias
Kauderns Cardinal
Spotted Cardinalfish
Yellowstripe Maroon clown - get an ocellaris, they are the only non-aggressive clowns. maroon is the most aggressive.
Bluedot jawfish -jawfish are weak, go with a bicolor blenny
Yellowhead Jawfish -bottom dwellers are territorial
Yellow tangs - tangs need a 100 gallon, they need room to move

Cleaners : How many of each do I need to keep up with the algea?

Emareld Crabs - any crab is trouble, even hermits
Dwarf Blue leg hermits
scarlet reef hermit - safest of the hermits
peppermint shrimps - wimpy, will be food for your pets
Astraea turbo snails - you have to flip them over. 4 large mexican turbos will keep your tank clean. only get them if you have an algae problem.
cerith snails - will not do much
nassarius snails - fun, fast snail

not all angels will eat corals, but these may...

"Kauderns Cardinal
Spotted Cardinalfish
Yellowstripe Maroon clown
Bluedot jawfish
Yellowhead Jawfish"

these guys would be A-ok in there
maybe: 1 jawfish (either)
2x marroons (will need an upgrade once they get full sized)
and 3-4 cards (either)

Gold/yellow striped maroon clowns can be aggressive, but mainly only toward other clowns and large aggressive tankmates (like angels, triggers, etc). If you choose peaceful tankmates they should be OK. I have a pair with an adult dominant female that is at least 4-5 years old and 4 1/2" in size, and she doesn't bother any of the other fish at all. The previous tank she lived in had a large angel, large tang, 3 large damsels, and something else that I forget and she defended her corner at a moderate level of dominance. I never saw any wounds or nipped fins, but did catch her chasing the angel and the damsels out of her territory a couple times in the 2 years I worked there. One trick is to routinely rearrange the tank whenever you clean or do water changes, even if only small areas or a couple rocks/plants to make it just slightly different. This creates new landscaping and lessens any territorialness. Ocellaris are cute and I liked that they can be kept in groups, but my love for the regal maroon clown won hands down, and I have no regrets. :)

Fish stock/ will they all live together? way to many fish for a 30 gallon

Flame angelfish - would be okay
Redstripe Angelfish - gets to big
Barletts anthias - need's more space
Maldives Lyretail Anthias - needs more space
Kauderns Cardinal - would be fine
Spotted Cardinalfish - would be fine
Yellowstripe Maroon clown - would pick on the cardinalfish
Bluedot jawfish- would be fine
Yellowhead Jawfish - wouldn't have to different species of jawfish in such a small tank
Yellow tangs - very aggressive and would be even more angry in a small 30 gallon.

Cleaners : How many of each do I need to keep up with the algea?

Emareld Crabs - don't really have a benefit of algae cleaning are opportunistic feeders.
Dwarf Blue leg hermits - don't really have a benefit of algae cleaning are opportunistic feeders
scarlet reef hermit - don't really have a benefit of algae cleaning are opportunistic feeders.
peppermint shrimps - don't eat algae but good scavengers and will eat aiptasia.
Astraea turbo snails - useless
cerith snails - the best choice on the list as far as a good algae cleaner.
nassarius snails - same as the cerith snails a great part of the clean up crew

I'll post pics of my setup tomorrow.
