Ran across this guy at the LFS getting some food yesterday. He needs to eat and his jaw is a bit off. He is every bit of 30" Pics arent that great I took them with my cell phone. If I had the cash I might have gotten him. $70.

nice specimen...amusing how the LFS calls it a spotted gar...likely because it merely has spots. clearly a longnose, and not a bad size for a captive specimen--

lol yeah I know gotta love the LFS ID's. His lower jaw looked a bit offset towards the tip was about 1/8" or so off from the upper jaw. If I had the cash and if I knew my Perch would be safe I'd think about getting him. Is it me or is he a bit to skinny?

which lfs was it ? AND demjor 19 we were standing across from you looking at the gars today then we left and went to RMS and decided to come back and get the longnose and it was GONE and i see u must of picked it up

King Neptunes Pet shop He has a nice little Pbass in there and some over priced Silver Aro's. I get my feeders there every week and they are surprisingly healthy I think I've only had 5 or so feeders die out of about 1000 I've bought there. I bought my two Florida/Spotted from them also.
