So i've had this little 30 litre tank laying around the house for a while and i've been looking to run it as a marine tank.
Being so small iv run into a few problems in setting it up, lighting and filtration being the main problems but I think these have been over come.

After a day of moving all the furniture in the room around, fixing the bed that was broken in the process. Finding more plug sockets, ran out of these. The tank is in situe and filled (Partialially i didnt pick up enough water).

Ill add some more photos when the rocks in!

Lookiing at filling with xenia and mushrooms. Then just a few Rock gobys.
Got a little LR in there at the moment goign to get it illed next week.

Just under 2 kilo of rock in there now, and a few mushrooms attached to it. ill add some more this week and next week get some xenia in there.

Be super careful with the xenia...in a tank like that it could become a plague running everything over in its path.

I like your barnacles though, you should get a blenny...they would love to live in one of those. I had a lawnmower that slept in a similar barnacle formation.

I was looking for a fairly good carpet over half the tank or so, then have a mixture of coloured mushrooms for the other.

I'm sort of torn with what to stock fish wise. I would like to have a Purple Fire Fish in there even though they get to quite a size they tend to stay in only a small area of a tank.
My end up for going for somthing like an Orchid Dotty Back or a flashback basslet and a couple of Rock Gobys in there.

Lawnmowers are nice but I defiantly want something with bold bright colours, to make a change from the tropical tank.

Yeah was looking at an either or just have the one more active fish with a couple of gobys, no more than three fish in there alltogether

Gobies will also fight with each other. Try to avoid things that occupy the same sort of places within a tank. Things that live in the same areas will eventually run into each other, and when they do it wont be pretty.

At least your tank is covered so they will not be jumping out.
